CHILLER THEATRE UPDATE: Alice Cooper, ‘Sons of Anarchy,’ John Astin headed to New Jersey!

April’s Chiller Theatre convention in Parsippany, N.J., is shaping up to be a scary good time. Confirmed guests include Alice Cooper and John Astin, from TV’s The Addams Family. The three-day event, which will take place April 27-29 at the Hilton Parsippany, has definitely expanded beyond a typical horror con. Most of the actors/musicians on hand have very little connection the genre. Chiller Theatre has simply become a celebration of television and film.

Other guests highlights include: Robert Loggia, Michael Constantine and Dean Cain, in his first convention appearance ever.

The Boondock Saints will have a reunion when Norman Reedus (of The Walking Dead), Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco make appearances.

The Sons of Anarchy reunion is even larger, featuring Kristen Renton, David Labrava, Michael Ornstein, Tommy Flanagan and Christopher D. Reed.

Other celebrities: William Forsythe, Vincent Pastore, boxing legend Jake Lamotta, Richard Lynch, Baywatch’s Donna D’Errico and Erika Eleniak, Bob Gunton and Lou Ferrigno.

Horror will be well represented with several supporting characters from Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Opera, The Human Centipede II and Friday the 13th.

The special guest for Chiller, as always, will be Zacherley, the cool ghoul.

Single-day tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For an extra $5, you can get in one hour early on Friday or Saturday. Most autographs will cost $20-$30. Cooper is already pre-selling photo ops, which run $50 each.

The Hilton Parsippany is located at 1 Hilton Court in Parsipanny, N.J. Click here for more information.
