NEW ORLEANS — At this year’s French Quarter Fest, Big Sam’s Funky Nation closed out Friday, April 7 with an energetic set on the GE Digital Big River Stage. Before a packed crowd of singing and dancing funk lovers, Sam put on a show with his unique style of entertainment. There was trombone playing. There was dancing. There was tambourine shaking. All of it was 100-percent certified funk.
