‘The Shining,’ ‘The Wolf Man,’ ‘Dracula’s Daughter’ returning for special horror-thon

The Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, N.Y., located a short drive north of New York City, will host a variety of horror classics at its annual horror-thon, Oct. 19-21. The historic theater at 97 Lafayette Ave. is one of the perfect palaces to experience old-time horror. Grab a bucket of popcorn, a large soda and wait for the lights to dim.

The full schedule of events:

Friday, Oct. 19

The Shining with Jack Nicholson at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 20

The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney Jr. at 1:45 p.m.

Dracula’s Daughter with Gloria Holden at 3:45 p.m.

Drive-In Double Feature with The Pit and the Pendulum (with Vincent Price) and The Premature Burial (with Ray Milland); the program includes vintage drive-in snipes and begins at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Dr. Cyclops with Albert Dekker at 1:45 p.m.

The Black Room with Boris Karloff at 3:45 p.m.

The Mad Magician with Vince Price at 7:30 p.m.; special Polarized Real-D digital 3-D presentation.
