YOUR GUIDE: Meet your favorite stars from ‘The Walking Dead’

Fans of The Walking Dead in the tri-state area will have a special treat coming the weekend of March 9-11. The biannual Monster Mania Convention, held at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, N.J., is set to feature several actors from the successful AMC series.

Expected to attend: Michael Rooker, Madison Lintz, Chandler Riggs and IronE Singleton, who will make his first convention appearance ever.

The Walking Dead stars will join many celebrities from the horror world. Headlining the three-day event is Robert Englund, better known as Freddy Krueger from the successful A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Making a rare appearance will also be Heather Donahue, lead actress from The Blair Witch Project and author of the new book, Grow Girl.

Alex Winter, from Lost Boys and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, will sign autographs, as well is Tuesday Knight and Charlie Spradling. Fans of TV’s The Dead Zone will get the chance to meet Anthony Michael Hall, while True Blood devotees can snag a photo with Kristin Bauer.

Filling out the convention is Monica Keena, Anders Hove and Lou David. Lisa Marie, a common presence in Tim Burton films, will return to New Jersey after appearing at October’s Chiller Theatre. Joe Whipp, the sheriff from Scream, will make his first convention appearance.

Friday and Saturday single-day tickets cost $25 each. Sunday costs $20. Weekend passes go for $50, while VIP packages, including an Englund photo and autograph, cost $200. All ticket information can be found here.

The Crowne Plaza is located at 2349 Marlton Pike West in Cherry Hill, N.J. Expect more guest announcements as the convention nears.
