The Pixies will stop at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, N.J., tonight, Oct. 28, for what promises to be a spirited concert of their classic album, Doolittle.

The influential band, which features Black Francis, Kim Deal, Joey Santiago and David Lovering, kicked off its 19-city tour last night in Montclair. The Asbury Park stop comes ahead of appearances in Waterbury, Conn., Hampton Beaceh, N.H., Portland, Maine, and Rochester, N.Y., among other secondary markets.

Fans should expect to hear Doolittle in its entirety, and thankfully most of the band’s best songs come from the album.

Here’s what the set list should look like:

“Debaser”

“Tame”

“Wave of Mutilation”

“I Bleed”

“Here Comes Your Man”

“Dead”

“Monkey Gone to Heaven”

“Mr. Grieves”

“Crackity Jones”

“La La Love You”

“No. 13 Baby”

“There Goes My Gun”

“Hey”

“Silver”

“Gouge Away”

When the first leg of this tour hit New York City a couple years ago, The Pixies also included some great B-sides and a full-out encore set.

Surfer Blood will open up the Asbury Park show at 8 p.m. Expect The Pixies to take the stage around 9:15 p.m. Tickets, priced $37.50-$43, are still available at Ticketmaster.

Hollywood Soapbox will be there tonight, reporting as usual. Expect to see a recap soon.
