Frankenstein, E.T. are headed back to the big screen

Fathom Events, the preeminent producers of cinematic events in the United States, will re-release E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein for special one-night screenings this October. Buy tickets early for this rare chance to catch some of the best movies of all time.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of E.T., Fathom will present a special screening on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. As part of its Turner Classic Movies series, Fathom plans to include an introduction from TV host Ben Mankiewicz and a feature with Drew Barrymore. On Wednesday, Oct. 24, the monster and his wife return to the big screen. A classic horror double-bill of Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein will play theaters nationwide beginning at 7 p.m. TCM host Robert Osborne will introduce the evening, and there will be taped interviews with Sara Karloff (daughter of Boris) and Bela Lugosi Jr. (son of Bela Sr.). Rick Baker, perhaps the greatest makeup artist of all time, will also offer his thoughts.
