MONSTER MANIA NEWS: Freddy Kreuger is coming to NJ!

Robert Englund will highlight the upcoming Monster Mania Convention on March 9-12 in Cherry Hill, N.J. The man behind the glove, Mr. Freddy Krueger himself, will sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans at the biannual horror convention.

Other confirmed guests include: Tuesday Knight (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, The X Files), making her East Coast convention debut, Puppet Master II’s Charlie Spradling and True Blood’s Kristin Bauer.

Fans of The Walking Dead will also appreciate that Chandler Riggs will be in attendance.

Another highlight is an appearance by the famous Christine car.

Expect many more guest announcements in the coming weeks.

Monster Mania takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 2349 West Marlton Pike in Cherry Hill, N.J. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $25 each, or $20 for Sunday. If you plan on attending more than one day, your best bet is to pick up the weekend pass at $50.

For a few extra bucks, you can get into the dealers room one hour early on Friday and/or Saturday. Note: The vendors room isn’t for the faint of heart.

There’s also a VIP Robert Englund experience, priced at $200. The package includes weekend early admission, one guaranteed autograph, one guaranteed photo, admittance to the Friday night VIP party, a Monster Mania T-shirt and reserved seating in the main event and film rooms.
